The Mother of Cities

No other Czech city has had so much written and spoken about it as Prague. In the centre, you can find one of the most charming stone bridges in the world, the Charles Bridge, with the silhouettes of still statues as well as the Old Town full of curving alleys and colorful squares. Walking up toward the hill, watching Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral, which glows in the sunlight, is an experience that never gets old; even for those who have spent a lifetime here. The city of a hundred spires is a mystical labyrinth where the past is intertwined with the present, a mysterious place where the most influential men of Europe, rulers, monarchs and alchemists, met… Wandering this city makes you feel like you are being a part of all the magic of its past. The atmosphere of the heart of Europe, as Prague is also called, is incomparable with any other city in the world. Prague is a city you have to accustom to, let it grow on you, become a part of it for a while and forget about the outside world – and then the city may be persuaded to show some of its secrets to you.
